L.A. Louver is pleased to present an exhibition of collages and related prints by R.B. Kitaj (American, 1932-2007). Kitaj used fragmented figuration and repetition to tell stories and develop narratives in his work.

Iris Project presents The future does not exist by Jenene Nagy. This body of work that quietly points to the fullness of the present moment. Cast-off palm fronds are given new life as paper-like substrate for paintings. Floating, painted squares veil the surface of the paper, while nuanced differences are observed through and enhanced by repetition.

While you are there, be sure to enjoy “The Way Things Blow,” a new temporary mural by Los Angeles artist Mark Licari. Licari’s long standing drawing practice periodically expands to large scale temporary wall works. In his latest creation, he has integrated characters and objects from both the manmade and natural world into a 70-foot mural on the exterior wall of Iris Project’s garden. Marc Selwyn Fine Art presents “Entanglements,” an exhibition of new work by Los Angeles-based artist Channing Hansen. Channing Hansen’s intricately knitted works reveal a commitment to process. The artist is intimately involved with each step of their creation, preparing and dyeing the raw fleece, then spinning the fiber into yarn.
