WCA’s ART SPEAKS! LEND YOUR VOICE Conference takes place at the DoubleTree Hotel (120 S Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA 90012) in Little Tokyo. The “Women Around Town” Bus Tour will bring conference participants first to 18th St. Arts Center and then to the reception at Arena One Gallery. From 5:00–7:00pm, everyone is invited to a reception for Art Speaks! Lend Your Voice public reception at Arena One Gallery. Curator Jill Moniz selected abstract and representational artworks by 62 artists from across the country for our national conference exhibition. A full color catalog accompanies the exhibition. Castelli Art Space is hosting a two-night only retrospective of the legendary Bill Barminski.

The retrospective will feature over two dozen paintings from various periods of Barminski’s career, focusing on the mid-80s and 2000s. The exhibit will also feature a never before-seen large bronze sculpture as well as new renditions of his signature cardboard sculptures. February 24, 2018:
UNICEF USA will host the annual UNICEF Next Generation Art Party in Los Angeles. The event will bring together over 800 of the city’s leading young philanthropists, art collectors and artists to celebrate UNICEF’s lifesaving work and raise funds to support vulnerable children on the move in Mexico. Hosted by: Gabé Hirschowitz, Founding Chair, Art Party and the Art Party Committee Curated by: Carlton DeWoody, Jamie G. Manné, Chelsea Neman Nassib, Jessica Witkin,  the event will feature a collection of unique artwork ranging from $100-$500, with the exception of a few rare items for the silent auction.
