mmy-winning writer and playwright Jane Anderson discovered the history of Edith Lake Wilkinson who was mysteriously committed to a mental hospital in 1924 at age 57.
Her artwork was packed away in a relative’s attic and forgotten for 30 yrs. Its rediscovery fired the imagination of Anderson, the grand-niece, who spent years tracking down any information she could find about Edith.
