In Beverly Hills…Here There Are Blueberries opens at the Bram Goldsmith Theater at the Wallis. The must-see show features 17 performances and runs from March 13 to 30, 2025. This new work from Tectonic Theater Project (The Laramie Project) is conceived and directed by Tony and Emmy nominee Moisés Kaufman. It is co-written by Emmy nominee Amanda Gronich. Synopsis
A mysterious album featuring Nazi-era photographs arrives at the desk of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum archivist Rebecca Erbelding. As Rebecca and her team of historians begin to unravel the shocking story behind the images, the album soon makes headlines around the world. Hence, it ignites a debate that reverberates far beyond the museum walls. Based on real events, Pulitzer Prize Nominee Here There Are Blueberries tells the story behind these historical photographs. Moreover, these images uncover the truth about the perpetrators of the Holocaust and, ultimately, about our own humanity.
The design team includes scenic design by Tony Award-winner Derek McLane, and costume design by Tony Award nominee Dede Ayite. Lighting design is by Tony Award nominee David Lander, and sound design is by Bobby McElver. In addition, projection design is by David Bengali. Furthermore Ann James serves as Intimacy Coordinator & Sensitivity Specialist. Amy Marie Seidel is Associate Director and Dramaturg. Finally Jacob Russell is the Stage Manager, while casting is by Stephanie Yankwitt.
