Six artists have been accepted for the seventh annual Joshua Tree Highlands Artist Residency. JTHAR, adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park, is a six-week residency program that provides work/living space for emerging and mid career artists to explore their creative projects.

This year’s recipients are Lilah Fowler, Chris Shaw, Yongjae Kim, Min Jung Lee, Beka Goedde & Vera Ximenes.

The artists will be working on proposed projects during their six week stay next to Joshua Tree National Park. An exhibition of these works will be held at Joshua Tree Art Gallery (61607 29 Palms Hwy. Joshua tree, Ca. 92252) at 6:00 pm on August 23rd, 2013. On view through August 25th.
