In celebration of International Nelson Mandela Day, street artist David Flores has been busy painting (Friday and Saturday) a mural of Nelson Mandela for his 95th Birthday, with a special unveiling reception today.
Come celebrate Nelson Mandela and enjoy live music from Remi Kabaka and King of Boys. Families and children are welcome.
The famous artist joins thousands of global citizens in celebrating Nelson Mandela as a champion of human rights and advocate for positive social change. The Rico’s Get Better Foundation (RGBF) spearheaded the Celebrating Nelson Mandela Day in LA movement with community services events throughout the Los Angeles area. Branded Arts procured the mural site, secured Flores for the project and is co-hosting the unveiling celebration.
