Topanga Vintage Market at Pierce College takes place again today.

Jewelry, fabric arts, painting, ceramics, and up-cycled media prevail at the show, and the lineup of artists changes and grows each month. Of course, there are also over 160 vintage vendors selling everything from paint by number collectibles to Matisse serigraphs, plus vintage fashion, furniture, toys, books, and all manner of cool stuff!The Vintage Market is “Always the 4th Sunday.”

$2 admission, kids free, no pets! Free parking.

Food trucks and live music, but no alcohol for sale.

Word is Art Gallery features a special workishop entitled “The Pages Within” today taught by instructor Kelly Kilmer.

TWIAgalleryWorkshop Description: “Our journal pages tell our stories by combining luscious, rich layers of paper and ink with moments of our own unique experiences. In this four-hour workshop, you will construct a hardbound journal from scratch. After we make the journal, you will then spend the rest of the class learning all new composition, design and self-expression through art journaling techniques. You will walk out of class with a brand new journal, several pages completed and your head full of new ideas and possibility!”

Gabba Gallery holds a closing reception as well as a “Walk and Talk” for “Platforms & PAINT.” Artists, Allie Pohl and Essi Zimm, 2 of the 17 artists featured in will share their insights and experiences as women in the art world during a tour of the show.
