If you are feelin’ like a Carnival….get out of LA and head to Fountain Valley….

The Fountain Valley Summerfest Committee, in partnership with the City of Fountain Valley is launching its 6th annual community celebration called “Fountain Valley Summerfest” to be held in June at the Fountain Valley Sports Park at Brookhurst and Heil.

This 4-day celebration will include carnival rides, food and beverage booths, game booths, local entertainment, exhibitors, non-profit organizations, live music, beer/wine garden, Live Sports Tent, the Fountain Valley Classic Car & Truck Show, and the K9 Fest event.

There will be bands all weeend long starting with a Thursday preview, so be sure to check the website.

Then on Friday….at 5:00 pm…a “Santana Tribute” kicks it off, followed by “Upstream” and then “The Country Legends” will headline the eventing (yeah…that’s my Country Tribute band). So come on by.

Saturday, the show begins at 11:00 AM with “Surfin’ the Beach Boys Tribute.” Then “Copper Canyon Band” comes on at 1:30 pm, followed by “Abbey Road” (you guessed it …Beatles tribute) at 4:00pm and then at 6:30 pm “Flashback Heart Attack” (an 80’s band) rushes the stage. The Undercover Girls headline the evening.

Sunday’s show starts off with “The Answer to Classic Rock” at noon. Then a Journey Tribute band, “Don’t stop Believin’ hits the stage at 2:30 pm, followed by “Tijuana Dogs” at 4:45 and finally the weekend’s music closes with DJ/Dance music at 7:15pm.
