Lowell Ryan Projects held its second solo exhibition titled “Jackpot!” by Houston-based artist Will Bentsen. The exhibition opened on September 10, 2022, but will remain on view through October 8, 2022. Bentsen’s cathartic process, often carried out in a single painting secession, produces exuberant, vibrant works that yield a visceral response. Washes of acrylic paint in saturated hues ground a fury of rapid brushwork. “Jackpot!” features twelve bold acrylic abstractions, all produced over the course of the last year, are on exhibit.
