Save thVACe Date…Thursday May 19, 2016 the Venice Art Crawl is back…See my article in the Argonaut Newspaper about Venice Art Week.

The Venice Art Crawl in its sixth year is a unique free pop-up art event 4x a year where locals and artists from around the world are all welcome to show in the Venice community.  What makes the crawl special is that events are free, no fee is required to show and people open their homes, garages, yards, studios, restaurants, businesses and galleries to show art, music, performance art, art installations, spoken word, dance, the art of food and crafts.

This May 19 the Venice Art Crawl’s hub is on Lincoln Blvd. for the first time and is featuring info booths at Venice Arts at 1702 Lincoln Blvd. and The Venice Love Shack located at 2121 Lincoln Blvd. New venues will include Bobbi Bennett Studio at 1145 Harrison Ave. upstairs and Fred Ceballos’s art downstairs. The Lincoln Bar a new craft cocktail lounge located at 2536 Lincoln Blvd, Venice, CA 90291.

A VR(virtual reality) event featuring Google Tiltbrush presented by @VRScout and local celebrity painter Jules Muck will be at a secret location to revealed on the map. Designer Robert Graham on Abbot Kinney is a new sponsor of the Venice Art Crawl and his designs are a real work of art themselves.
