JTAG FebFLYERSAVE the DATE….JTAG Gallery presents Steve Rieman–Retrospective.

Take a lovely weekend to enjoy the beauty and nature of Joshua Tree….while you are there…enjoy some great art and an opening reception on Saturday, February 11th, from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm.

Steve Rieman’s paintings and sculpture will fill one of the JTAG gallery spaces for the month of February. The exhibition will include paintings from the 1980s and follow his creative path of development from early paintings to his current large scale sculptures. Rieman feels that the content in his work has remained consistent while the form is ever changing. Gallery director, Frederick Fulmer says “The show will follow the flow of content in Rieman’s 2-D to his 3-D works. It’s exciting to highlight the career of one of our own gallery artists.”

2.11 JTAGRieman72dpiA continuous video loop on a small screen will trace the early beginnings of Rieman’s journey as an artist from the 1960s and his car building days (before graduation from Art Center College of Design) to chairs that move, to passive solar architectural development, to painting and currently his sculpture and public art.

The exhibition runs until March 3rd. JTAG Gallery is located at  61607 29 Palms Hwy. Joshua Tree, Ca. 92252; For more information about the show, or places to stay in Joshua Tree, please call Frederick Fulmer 760-366-3636; www.joshuatreeartgallery.com
