Ger Ger is a media artist and photographer who’s current work is site specific and inspired by Joshua Tree. Rachel Ostrow is a painter playing between abstract and representation while embracing the peacefulness of the Joshua Tree desert. Laura Frantz, also a painter is from New York. She has been combining her daily observations of the beauty of the landscape into abstract compositions.

Artist, performer and writer Denise Siegel’s performance explores how the mind reconciles disparate political, scientific, and religious ideologies. Elizabeth Tobias’ Second Skin piece invites our shadow selves to be seen in public with the notion that destroying inhibition and self-protection will make way for more authentic experiences.

Marjan Vayghan’s Second Skin performance brings awareness to the mournful skin of funeral processions that have plagued families and communities in Iran and throughout the Arab Spring.

Cotter is a graduate of the Pasadena Playhouse and has long been involved with the Venice community as well as being a civic activist.
