The admission is $60.00, but you’ll have the chance to taste the highly acclaimed 2007 vintage, and talk with the gifted winemakers who created these beautiful wines.  Local specialty food purveyors will serve delectables that pair well with pinot.

The festial boasts that they will offer over 400 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills.

deyermond books is having a book bbq every month in 2012 …sounds good.   They are boasting that they will have two bands, hot dogs hamburgers and veggie burgers, plus kegs and sodas….these guys have some incredibly rare books….just don’t get mustard on them!

1.7.12 merrykarnowksky vivianmaierOr head to Hollywood and stop into Merry Karnowsky’s closing reception of their latest exhibition, “Vivian Maier: A Life Discovered.” This brilliant exhibition, features the very talented photographer, Vivian Maier who was a struggling female photographer, working as a nanny. So sad that she did not receive the recognition in her life time.
