huZ Galleries in San Pedro is currently exhibiting “Earth, Beasts and Liquid Gold,” showcasing the paintings of Wawi Amasha, Ngene Mwaura and the images of photographer Huss Hardan.

“Earth” features Wawi Amasha’s acrylic and mixed media paintings reveling in the life energy of our planet and its constructive forces.

“Beasts” features Ngene Mwaura’s permanent marker and paint portraits of the wild beasts that surround us and are part of our subconsciousness. Hypnotic, entertaining, and yet fully engaging.

“Liquid Gold” features Huss Hardan’s celebration of water in a time of drought. Shot around southern California on color film and optically printed his work is influenced by David Hockney’s intense color palate. The photographs are impressionistic and dynamic luring the viewer into the vibrant imagery.

huZ Galleries presents a new exhibition every two months. “Earth, Beast and Liquid Gold” on debuted July 2nd and will run through the end of August.
