The Making Memories Festival returns for its fourth year. Expect a fun day at Los Angeles State Historic Park. Attendees will enjoy local music, food trucks, games, activities, as well as an exhibitor area. The festival benefits Alzheimer’s Los Angeles, a local nonprofit that provides free programs and services to families facing Alzheimer’s or dementia. The Making Memories Festival is a paid event. The main lawn and parking lot may be inaccessible to visitors during the event, but the Cargo Snack Shack, the lawn adjacent to the restaurant, the south lawn, and wetlands area will remain open. In celebration of Betye Saar’s Mojotech 37th anniversary, Roberts Projects will hold a panel discussion on the links between gender, art and technology that have emerged since the mid-20th century.

It is participating as an official PST Art: Art & Science Collide gallery in conjunction with the Getty’s initiative. Lia Halloran: Night Watch features a new series of paintings capturing the passage of time across multiple scales—whether through the movement of star trails, the changing of seasons, or the Earth’s steady orbit around the sun.
