Shatto Gallery debuts a charity exhibition, “Together with Refugee Children,” displaying artworks from refugee and asylee children from around the world. Organized by the Global Refugee Aid Foundation CEO, Jung-In Moon, she brings together artworks created by children of Rohingya, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Myanmar, and North Korea. The broad opening reception will take place on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, 2-5pm. This exhibition will be on view from November 9 to November 15, 2022.

This exhibition hopes to bring light to the works of children who became refugees due to persecution, as well as adults who are from North Korea. A total of 250 works, more or less will be on display. Created by children who have become refugees and asylees due to political and religious persecution, these works reflect the dreams and hope of children despite the marginalized circumstances and the lack of protection from the state.

All proceeds from the sale of the artwork will be donated to the refugee ministry of the Global Refugee Aid Foundation. Jung-In Moon established a North Korean refugee church (Bitnara Mission Church) in  Los Angeles in 2004 and was sent as a missionary to country M in 2014 to continue the refugee education ministry and single mother ministry. Through this exhibition, one can enter the world created through the lens of refugee children. Please come and send a lot of support to international refugees and children.
