“Send Nudes,” a petit exhibition by Miguel Casco opened at ArtBug Gallery on May 28, 2022. There will be two more events taking place at the gallery. On Wednesday June 8, 2022, from 4-7pm, enjoy a Tarot and Book signing. Then on Tuesday, June 9. 6-8pm, an Artist talk, Q&A will take place. The show runs through June 11, 2022. The solo exhibition features a collection of watercolor and gouache portraits as an invitation to be collectively vulnerable, to create an archive that speaks of intimacy and erotism. The exhibition brings together a selection of Chicome’s most recent work, which explores Mexican and Mesoamerican indigeneity, cultural identity, and issues of decolonization. “Nahualtezcatl: Shapeshifting Mirror.”
