Celebrate Mother’s Day early with Vero and Women For WineSense. The national organization for women in wine is showcasing 2 Vero producers who are mother daughter winemaking team at a virtual tasting on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 3pm ET / 12pm PT.

Women For WineSense member and Vero Founder Sheila Donohue will tell us her fascinating story of living in Italy, moving to California, and breaking into the wine business. Then she’ll take us on a trip to Italy to meet the first or our two mother daughter duos Hilde Petrussa and her daughter Francesca live from their winery, Vigna Petrussa in Friuli, Northeast Italy where we will taste one of the white varieties unique to their region…Ribolla Gialla.

Our second stop is a little closer to home, as Sheila introduces us to Patti Mitchell and her daughter Jacqueline of Ojai Pacific View Vineyards. Patti specializes in Dolcetto, a red variety commonly found in the Piedmont region of Italy. We will visit with them as we sip their 2017 inaugural vintage.
