KCRW Presents Summer Nights!
KCRW will be hosting the main stage and LA Weekly will be hosting the second stage.
KCRW returns to Chinatown for a dance party courtesy of the station’s DJs Anthony Valadez and Raul Campos. The first in a series of three Saturday nights, Chinatown combines hands-on Chinese cultural activities, the Downtown Flea Craft and Vintage market, live bands, food trucks, authentic Chinese restaurants and KCRW DJs rocking the dance floor.
The event begins at 5 pm, with KCRW DJ sets starting at 8 pm.
Saturday, June 27 – Anthony Valadez + Raul Campos
Saturday, July 25 – Mario Cotto + Travis Holcombe
Saturday, August 22 – Garth Trinidad + Jason Bentley
The series kicks off in Old Pasadena, then it heads to Chinatown with KCRW DJs taking over the turntables and leading the packed masses as confetti rains down on the dance floor. Celebrate one of LA’s oldest and most unique neighborhoods on Saturdays throughout the summer months: June 27, July 25 and August 22.
Part food event, part summer party, Chinatown Summer Nights offers Chinese cultural activities presented by local organizations and museums; sip on craft brews and dance in Central Plaza with 89.9 KCRW’s DJ’s! http://chinatownsummernights.com/
