Coming out of a global pandemic, we have all become keenly aware of time. We consider notions of the past and present and wonder about the future. The vernacular has changed to include terms like “normally” or “before times” to reference the past, and “during the pandemic” or “while in quarantine” to reference how we have changed or transitioned over the past two years. The future is yet to be determined. The emotional toll of this shared experience has left many with feelings of uncertainty. Begin/Again is an art exhibition that seeks to uplift viewers through work that explores joy and positivity, and hope for the future as we move slowly towards our “new normal.”
