Kick off your holiday one day early and enjoy the fireworks at Culver City. The 52nd annual Firework Extravaganza will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022. The celebration is hosted by the Exchange Club of Culver City and the event will include live music, food, and fireworks.The show will take place at West Los Angeles College. The gate will open at 3:30 and the show will start at dusk. Admission is $5 per person or $15 for the whole car. For more info, visit culverexchange.org

On July 4, 2022, the earliest event takes place in Santa Monica, the 15th annual Parade on Main Street is but is a fun local parade, but there are No fireworks here. The parade runs from 9:30am-12:00pm. http://mainstreetsm.com 

Then at 2pm, Pacific Palisades hosts its 74th annual 4th of July Celebration. The annual Pacific Palisades Fourth of July Parade kicks off at 2pm with a flyover by a squadron of WWII fighter planes, followed by a parade through the center of town. Then you won’t want to miss the fireworks at night at the Palisades Charter High School. Doors open at 6pm. Grand Park’s Fourth of July Block Party returns IN-PERSON with a spectacular celebration packed with fun for the whole family. This year’s party will feature a series of interactive multi-media art works in tribute to those who have contributed to the spirit of the Grand Park experience as the Park for Everyone, and will showcase a dynamic respective of the last 10 years. Join the party for a night that will include food, music, the return of two stages featuring DJs as well as musical performances, dancing, as well as other surprises and dazzling fireworks over Jerry Moss Plaza.

In Pasadena…The Rose Bowl presents its 96th annual AmericaFest celebration on the 4th with a fantastic fireworks show.

In honor of the stadium 100th birthday this year’s program will highlight key moments of the venue’s iconic past, welcome back fan-favorite, TNT Freestyle Motocross with a thrilling, high-flying thirty-minute show, and will also feature a musical performance by Drake Milligan.

The Hollywood Bowl once again offers its Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular starting on July 2, 3, AND 4, 2022. Fireworks crown the Hollywood sky all three nights at the Bowl, when Thomas Wilkins and the Los Angeles Philharmonic perform a program of favorites—along with two of the funniest, most influential, and most acclaimed talents of the past century: Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Cinespia will also host movies with fireworks on July 2 – 4, 2022 at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery! Be aware ticket prices are a bit higher on those days. Screenings include: “The Fast and the Furious,” “Purple Rain,” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”CLICK HERE for more info and ticket prices.

Lastly Marina del Rey will be offering its annual Fireworks. Many people gather at Burton Chase Park (13650 Mindanao Way) or Fisherman’s Village (13755 Figi Way) where synchronized music will play with the fireworks. However,  you can view the fireworks at the end of the Marina Peninsula, which runs parallel to the beach. Be aware, there is absolutely NO parking…you’ll see lots of people walking that way from 7-9pm Park East on Washington super early in the day and stay late – the Marina tends to get extremely crowded. Also many restaurants will be offering outdoor dining to view the show, but you MUST have a reservation. The fireworks will begin at 9pm and run for twenty minutes.
