Enjoy a free evening of art, music and entertainment as Pasadena’s most prominent arts and cultural institutions swing open their doors. The night is yours to decide. Begin your journey at any one of our 21 participating cultural institutions, where free shuttles will be waiting to transport you to your next destination. Last spring, 28,000 people experienced the excitement of ArtNight.

The Pennington Dance Group presents a kinetic evening of dance works, music and dialogues with local dance and performing artists. You’ll find an art exhibition in the lobby. Art-Space Gallery celebrates the international artist Avi Roth. The artist recently returned from the Jerusalem Biennale, where his work “Memento 613” was featured in a highly esteemed cultural event.

“Avi Roth: Higher Grounds” is curated by Dale Youngman and will feature over 20 new works. The solo exhibition will showcase Roth’s highly regarded coffeegraph “Lemuria, the Lost Motherland,” as well as prints that introduced coffeegraph® to America in 2006.

Also featured, Roth’s widely-considered landmark work “Babylonia”, a series of seven coffeegraphs inspired by historical narratives from the Babylonian exile. His arduous effort in the last decade produced over 100 intricate coffeegraphs that represent Roth’s artistic vision and ambition.
