Jaus presents C-Note an Exhibition and Fundraiser for Syrian Children. ALL WORKS $100. All proceeds to UNICEF Syrian Crisis Fund. Organized by Ichiro Irie & Dasha Orlova; Co-hosted by Gabé Hirsch of UNICEF Next Generation
The exhibition will be a pop-up, salon style exhibition at JAUS featuring works by over 100 artists from Southern California, in an effort to raise awareness, contribute to the humanitarian effort, and raise money that will be donated to UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) specifically directed to children affected by the Syrian crisis.
Every piece in the show will be available for $100. All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to UNICEF’s efforts in Syria. The works in the exhibition will span a variety of media, genre, and subject matter. In its entirety, we hope the project conveys a spirit of non-violence, co-existence and harmony among those with differentphilosophies and ways of life.

Kat and the Blues Hounds play our monthly gig at Sonny McLean’s on Wilshire in Santa Monica. We have had many incredible guest musicians sitting in…and are coming back….harp players, a trumpet player and more. We will even be joined by the incredible Greg Cruz who will be sitting in on guitar. If you like jazz and blues…we do a bit of both!!
We’ve got a great lineup….Bob Crickmore on Keys, John Wiemken on bass, Rick Bryan on Drums, with Lucky Wright on sax….plus we have guest guitarist Greg Cruz plus there’s a rummor that we’ll also have a guest trumpet player and harp player sittin’ in…it’s gonna be a crowded stage!
