Artbug presents “Elsewhere,” by María Rendón. The opening reception was held on February 25, 2023, but the exhibition will run through March 2023.

In the works of María Rendón, the quest for “the ruins” in the remaining process of production of an artwork somehow resembles the essentiality of the vestiges prevailing in the urban transformation of the cities and places of her birth and living. From that perspective, by being born in Mexico City, María Rendón presents “Elsewhere” as a transformation of signs and stories that survive the struggle of the parallel times of memory and the living story with the capacity to forge an identity of an enigma within her artwork.
