If you are a wine lover…head to the Santa Monica Wine Fest. Celebrate the diverse flavors of wine from around the world. From crisp, refreshing whites to deep-flavored reds…you’ll find plenty to discover and love at the Santa Monica Wine Fest. Held at the Santa Monica Barker Hangar, attendees can enjoy music while sampling new wines during a three hour session. Cuisine from local eateries will be available for purchase.

Obvious Wines founder Brice Baillie has kicked off 2019 with a bang after successfully landing a deal with Lori Greiner on the popular television show Shark Tank in January. He said he is excited to participate for the second time in the Santa Monica Wine Fest. “The venue is huge, but it’s kind of cool to be in an airplane hangar. Attendees were extremely curious and fun, very nice and respectful crowd that came to learn and drink good wine!”

When asked what he loves most about doing these type of events, Baillie replied, “Meeting new people, getting feedback, seeing their (always positive!) reaction when they taste our wines is the best accomplishment and that’s what keeps me motivated in this challenging venture.” Obvious Wines was founded in 2016 and featured one wine – Dark and Bold. Baillie recalled that he started with just fifty-six cases. Soon he introduced new wines to the line such as Bright & Crisp, Light & Lively, French & Bubbly…with a new chardonnay called Rich & Oaky on the horizon.

Baillie created Obvious Wines because he wanted to reach the average person who enjoyed wine, but did not know much about it. “All of our wines are crafted with the intent to help, educate and please consumers. Each ticket will include 3 hours of unlimited wine tasting, as well as access to our three wine seminars hosted by VinePair. Event is RAIN OR SHINE – The event will be held indoors. Proceeds Santa Monica Wine Fest will benefit the Surfrider Foundation, a foundation dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network.
