Advocartsy celebrated the opening of “Delbar Shahbaz: Land Is Feeling, Color Is Remedy” on February 16, 20023. Not to worry if you missed it, the exhibition will remain on view through Mach 18, 2023.

Shahbaz exhibits works that are ultimately about light and movement. By painting and attending to the play of light on land and water, she honors a journey through darkness.  In the wake of the current Woman Life Freedom revolution in Iran, and in response to this journey through darkness, this body of work celebrates a movement towards light.
