You know the story, but you don’t know her story. Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice re-imagines this ancient myth for a modern age, bringing her out of the shadows (but not quite out of the Underworld) and into the forefront of her own narrative. With music by “contemporary opera’s rising wunderkind,” (New York Times) and “Genius Award” recipient Matthew Aucoin, this operatic world premiere shows just how important timing is when it comes to matters of the heart.
