In Santa Monica…Artist Bobbie Rich will be opening her art studio starting today, Thursday, and running through Saturday December 6, 2025. Be aware, you must RSVP to attend. FYI Saturday, the Montana Holiday Walk takes place. However, you have all three days to purchase some work from this talented artist.

Enjoy Mizel Wine, light bites, while you shop in her Santa Monica studio. It is the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind gifts for Hanukkah and Christmas! In addition to paintings, there will be an eclectic array of work to choose from. Downtown Culver City brings back its Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Sled-tacular!  Kids will get the chance to go sledding in 50 tons of snow.  In addition to kids’ music performances, the event will feature a Tree Lighting countdown, and of course Santa Claus!  Culver City’s Tree Lighting Sled-tacular is hosted by the CC Downtown Business Association and presented by Amazon MGM Studios.

An Inspector Calls, written by J.B. Priestley classic mystery continues its run at Theatre 40. The classic mystery directed by Cate Caplin is produced for Theatre 40 by David Hunt Stafford. A young woman meets with an untimely demise and a respectable family is subject to a routine inquiry in connection with the death. The theatre is located on the campus of Beverly Hills High School. Downtown Art Night takes place today. The first Thursdays of the month art event takes place at various locations throughout downtown.

LA Opera’s 40th Anniversary Season continues with a revival of its beloved Herbert Ross production of La Bohème. In fact, Resident Conductor Lina González-Granados conducts the first revival in nearly a decade. The LA Opera will present just six performances of Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece.
