Downtown…Hospital of Emotions is an unusual installation located inside a former wing of St. Vincent Medical Center. Presented by House of Art and Dreams, ROYVA Group, and also St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus, it transformed one of Los Angeles’ most historic hospital sites into a fully immersive, large-scale art experience.Read more about it on the Hospital of Emotions Feature.

As part of LA Design Weekend, Make Room Gallery presents Steep and Spin. The program spotlights ritual tea and sound at Make Room, to celebrate LA Design Weekend and the creative community. While Hanna Li leads a Gongfu tea service, this is a Chinese tradition of preparing tea through a series of small, concentrated infusions. Moreover, throughout the afternoon, JiJi spins vinyl found across Asia, from Mongolian musicians to records discovered in Japan’s jazz kissas.
