Its a holiday weekend, therefore Saturday August 31, 2024 art parties and events include mostly music, theatre and comedy events. Be sure to check Labor Day events – some take place today as well. Sorry kids, but the art portion is a bit slim. But not to worry, the amount of art parties taking place on the first and second Saturdays of September will blow your mind. We have featured a few art openings below.

Remember to check our Labor Day Weekend events, as a few run through the entire weekend. Another fun thing to do is enjoy a day trip to Long Beach, and visit the Aquarium of the Pacific or go for a harbor cruise. This runs the entire holiday weekend, as well as on Monday – Labor Day!
