This Wednesday, September 16, support an important cause….Get Lucky for Lupus LA Celebrity Poker Tournament will take place at the Avalon Hollywood.

The event will be hosted by Cheryl Burke & Mekhi Phifer and will honor The Winterstern Family.

Shane Griffin will personally attend the event. He consistently works with nonprofits via his business Whole Life Balance. Griffin said he tends to choose lesser known organizations. “I know first hand the difficulty raising money when you are a small or less known disease, we call them orphan charities. I as you know have been the director of production for Cystic Fibrosis for over 10 years and in small charities i find the money is really appreciated.”

He added as a business owner it’s important ….as we are all in this fight together. “I believe in community and my background has taught me to be very thankful that I am in a position to help. Regardless of the amount we all can help, with my small but mighty platform on social media i think it is important to be involved.”
