Attend a rare L.A. appearance by leading Israeli journalist and writer Ari Shavit, who discusses his new book, My Promised Land.

The book offers a groundbreaking examination of the story of Israel told through interviews, historical documents, private diaries and letters, and Shavit’s own family story. My Promised Land asks difficult but important questions about Israel’s origins and its future, using events of the past to shed new light on the present.
