Since 1931, the Santa Monica Jaycees have honored outstanding young individuals in the community for their commitment to volunteer service.

Each year, the Jaycees solicit nominations from service clubs and non-profit organizations throughout the area. One outstanding individual is named the recipient of this honor.

This year’s nominees are Magdalena Davis, Robert English, Brittney Seeliger, Megan Sheehy, and Bryan Smiley.

“It’s incredibly exciting for the Santa Monica Jaycees to recognize the good work of young people in this community. This year’s nominees are nothing short of exemplary and we’re proud to showcase their accomplishments,” said 2014 Santa Monica Jaycees President Rob Schwenker.
