His distinctive sound is characterized by powerful brass melodies with blistering solos. His high-energy performances are truly second to none. Trombone Shorty’s band, called Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, is well-known for their explosive live shows that seamlessly fuse musical genres.
Early Years
Troy Andrews, widely known as Trombone Shorty, was born and raised in New Orleans. The rich musical heritage of the Big Easy inspired him from the very beginning.
