Can’t make it to Burning Man? Missed out on CoacheMarVistaArtWalk-Music-ArtWalkPoster edited-1lla? Check out Mar Vista Art Walk – Music Edition! We’re closing off the summer with a music-filled art festival along the 1 mile stretch of Venice Blvd from Inglewood Blvd to Beethoven St.

Designated as Mayor Garcetti’s Venice Blvd. “Great Street,” this much-anticipated Music Edition of the Mar Vista Art Walk will feature a multitude of live indie bands, jazz, acoustic, Latin, blue grass and more! SIX new street murals including the work of Madsteez, DJN3ff, Starfightera, Babak, Apexer and Wyatt Mills in the Mar Vista MURALS! Food (vegan options), indie bands, live street painting, film, art installations, emerging and established artists, dance and experimental video — where else can you find all this and more, without a cover charge?

What makes this art walk unique is its emphasis on sidewalk engagement. Instead of indoor gallery hopping bound by 4 walls, visitors interact with artists everywhere — on sidewalks, in alley parking lots and everywhere between. Whether you’re walking, dancing, or cycling through, we hope to see you there!

Bring your furry friend to the VCA Animal Hospital during ArtWalk for “Yappy Hour”! Pet-themed mocktails and snacks will be served and the Nepal Art Dogs project will display their micro finance, fair trade art that supports the disappearing art of Danger Dog signboards in Nepal.

NepalDogs-JennyJindo.Sagar.sq“DANGER DOGS – Folk Art from the Himalayas” is the creation of Michelle Page of Santa Monica, who became intrigued by hand-painted metal “Beware of Dog” signs adorning gates in Nepal. She decided to promote a fair trade art project featuring these charming paintings and save a dying art form.

Enjoy Dog treats and mocktails at VCA Animal Hospital, 12108 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066;
