It’s the fourth day of our Pick of the Week, the LA Decom week long event. “Seraphim: The Spirit of Unification,” the large wooden sculpture is up so come on down to leave your mark on it.

As pTHurs10 11 Decom LetGoofFearart of the event, from 9:00 am to sunset, the public is invited to participate in the ritual of writing their hopes, dreams, and remembrances on it.

Today is Drum Day, so any and all hand drums and drummers are especially invited this day. Drumming and music is a language we all speak. (rain or shine. Bring pop ups or tents if its raining) 3 leaders from LA CAN (Skid Row NPO focusing on homeless) will be featured plus their recruits, including members of a hand percussion group.

L.A. Louver presents a solo exhibition of new sculptures by Deborah Butterfield. The exhibition demonstrates the artist’s increasingly complex use of bronze to make sculptures in the figure of a horse, the form for which she is renowned.

The show includesThurs 10.11 Butterfield-2012-V8 eblast -1 02 both larger-than-life-size and smaller-scale horse sculptures, as well as a single work made in found steel. The sculptures are presented throughout all first and second floor galleries.
