The Venice Skate Park is hosting its second artist presentation in 2 years.

Join artist Mark Farina tonight for a special presentation of his large scale paintings displayed in the skate park on Venice Beach near Winward Avenue.

This should be fun, Mark is a fabulous artist and the lights will be on in the park until at least 9pm. Music by the Sycons and friends, on the down low.

Then across the street, be sure to pop into the benefit taking place at Canal Club. This show will feature the work of longtime resident Daniel Samakov’s on sale to help raise money to fight AIDS.

This show will include a special limited edition of prints, each individually signed. The prints will be specially priced ($200 and less) that night to thank you for supporting this worthy cause. There will also be a raffle and other surprises!

Just down the street….head towards the beach to another favorite gallery who is participating for the first time named Shulamit Galery. I have been to many openings here and there’s always a good art party.
