The Design in Motion Festival (Demo Festival) the largest motion design festival makes an appearance in downtown Los Angeles. The one day annual motion works festival began in 2019 and is now an international curated event. Sixteen cities will participate for just 24 hours. The LA installation is presented alongside Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film currently on view at LACMA. In fact according to LACMA, the LA installation will remain on view for two-weeks. Tonight some of the most talented performers and musicians gather to support survivors of the LA fires. Artists come together and perform at two venues in one night – the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome. Performers at the Kia Forum include: Billie Eilish, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rod Stewart, Sting, and lots more. Performers at the Intuit Dome include: Alanis Morissette, Dave Mathews & John Mayer, Green Day, Pink, Stevie Nicks, the Black Crowes, etc. Tickets went on sale January 22, 2025. Donations can still be made at FireAidLA.org. *Contributions made to FireAid 501(c)(3) in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout California.
