Bergamot Station…BBAX holds its community initiative LAB at 1:30pm. The multilingual community gathering LAB features monthly gatherings to artists, creatives as well as art practitioners. All are welcome. LAB offers a casual, access-centered creative space for artists, creative community members, and art practitioners to connect, share work, share ideas, and also meet. LAB began in February 2023. Due to community response BBAX then created workshops in addition to events, organized in July and August 2022.

In Silver Lake…La Luz de Jesus Gallery unveils Lost and Found, an exhibition celebrating the medium of found objects. Over 60 artists fill the walls and floors of the gallery with unusual sculptures. Some artworks are political, while some are kooky as well as some being down right creepy. Therefore all of the artworks give a second life to discarded and also forgotten objects.
