TheSun-Mar6-2016-LAZineFest L.A. Zine Fest is taking place on March 6, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at The Majestic Downtown 650 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90014 — It is Free to attend.

You may be asking what is a Zine?? Well here’s the definition. Zine (noun)ˈzēn : a noncommercial, handmade publication usually devoted to specialized and often unconventional subject matter; rhymes with “mean.”

The main entrance to L.A. Zine Fest is off of Spring St. between 6th and 7th st. directly across the street from L.A. Cafe.

Panel Discussions, Readings and Programming at L.A. Zine Fest 2016 are happening at three offsite locations, all within two blocks of The Majestic Downtown (where tabling is taking place). Make sure to visit the EVENTS PAGE for complete descriptions and schedules!

The tabling portion of the Fest will be on two floors of The Majestic Downtown, a historic building (built in 1921) that used to be a bank. Access to the second floor (Mezzanine) is accessible by stairs or elevator.

The Majestic Downtown is conveniently located near the Pershing Square Metro Station, accessible by either the Red or Purple subway lines.  When you exit at Pershing Square, be sure to take the exit that goes toward 5th Street/Pershing Square. Landmarks are The Biltmore Hotel and the Central Public Library.
