stAStartUp-ArtFair-LogoRTup Art Fair’s Los Angeles debut will commence on Friday, January 29, at 12PM PDT, and will run through Sunday, January 31 at 7PM PDT. Fair visitors are invited to come and tour the transformed rooms and discover the work of contemporary artists from across the United States. The boutique Highland Gardens Hotel rooms will be occupied by exhibiting artists, several small collectives and the fair’s exhibiting partners, offering viewers an intimate experience with the artwork and direct access to the artists.

The Chambers Brothers—a powerful LA-based gospel, folk, and blues unit best known for their 1968 psychedelic hit “Time Has Come Today”—will reunite for the first time in nearly two decades for a very special performance in The Ash Grove At The Improv Concert Series on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at 4 p.m. at the Improv, 8162 Melrose Ave., Hollywood (site of the original Ash Grove music club.) Concert proceeds will support the Ash Grove Foundation and the Ash Grove Documentary film project.

Roy Zimmerman, political singer-songwriter and founder of “The Foremen” satirical folk quartet—whose inspirations include Tom Lehrer, Phil Ochs and Pete Seeger—fills out the bill.

The event is produced by The Ash Grove Music Foundation, which continues the legacy of the Original Ash Grove with concerts, lectures, community performances, and support for young artists. wwww.ashgrovemusic.org
