Downtown…

CSat-Aug6-2016-CarlBerg-UnionStationelebrate public art. “Cabinet of Curiosities” is a group exhibition of Los Angeles-based artists, curated by Carl Berg.

The artists have created a series of mysterious worlds that are viewed through peepholes for this upcoming exhibition at Union Station.

The artwork is a throwback to an era where mystery was created by crafting objects that used visual phenomenon to trick the viewer into seeing something that is really not what it seems to be. This unique show will feature a visual glimpse into the artists’ worlds, not on a grand scale, but rather on a more personal level. The artworks in the exhibition can only be viewed by one person at a time giving the observer their own intimate experience.

Downtown…

“On the Distant Horizon” is a multimedia exhibition that explores notions of mirage—something that is simultaneously there and not there, the impossible and the improbable. The art will interpret fantasy, delusions and dreams.
