If you have yet to visit the Butterfly Pavilion at the Natural History Museum, do it soon as it is closing in August. My husband and I really enjoyed it when we visited. They literally come and sit on you – it’s quite a unique experience. The Pasadena Bead & Design Show holds its third and final event at the Pasadena Convention Center. In addition to beads, the biannual event features gemstones, artisan jewelry, textiles, all kinds of wearable art, handcrafted works, and creative materials.

This is the final performance of Grangeville at the Ruskin Group Theatre. Written by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by John Perrin Flynn, Tim Cummings and Jeff LeBeau step into the lead characters in Grangeville. They play estranged half-brothers who are forced to reconnect due to their aging mother. While one lives in Grangeville, the other lives in Amsterdam,Grangeville deals with love, suffering, and the not so easy road to forgiveness.
