The exhibition will be on view at Dilettante on Saturday, September 19, 2015 for one night only. This project is an effort to echo the voice of the social media hashtag/grassroots campaign #YESALLWOMEN. The online conversation has proven one of the strongest in raising awareness about the sexism, discrimination, and misogyny that women experience today. Through the artwork and the community-oriented installation, the aim is to affect change and offer support and education.

The #YESALLWOMEN exhibition was developed by Jessie Askinazi, longtime art + culture contributor to Purple Fashion Magazine’s Diary. “The conversation that evolved from this simple hashtag was monumental. It was the first time I really felt understood about these issues in such a global, inherent way,” said Askinazi. She continues, “It was important for me to resurrect the power that came from these truths and create a space for women to unite through art and activism.”
