N3.31 BreweryARTWalk now if you are going to the Pick of the Week, the Blankenship Cabaret Theatre, downtown at the Alexandria Hotel, you may want to stop by the Brewery Artwalk.

It starts today and continues through Sunday. There over 100 studios open to the public and it’s always a fun event.

In case, you’ve never been, the Brewery Arts Colony is an Artist Studio/live-work complex converted from the industrial buildings of a former Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery, and bottling plant. It is now home to over 300 artists and arts-related businesses.

The Brewery is a pretty large space, with a wonderful 1920s vibe.

Take advantage of this chance to che3.30 3DAltervisoin DebiCable ck out the amazing artist spaces…with the orginal steel doors, railroad tracks which run throush some units, hanging beds, old classic railings, etc. Each unit is very different….I just love this (I live in a famous 1920s building off Venice Beach). It’s like one big artist commune.

Altervision 3D (one of my favorite exhibitions)  will be featured this year, showing off the work of artist, Debi Cable.

The Brewery Artwalk is free to attend, but admission is $5 for A3D , an all day entrance pass to inspire your imagination, great for kids of all ages! Be sure to stop in, if you haven’t seen it yet, its sooo cool. The installation will be showing in the smoke stack building at the Heart Of the Brewery!  www.altervision3d.com
