8.4 LeslieSacks CharlesChristopherHillIn addition to the Pick of the Week, there are several other really wonderful openings. One I’d like to point out is Charles Chritopher Hill’s opening at Leslie Sacks Contemporary.

See image, left, Charles Christopher Hill, “Vivian,” 1985, acrylic on canvas, 60 x 48″

Leslie Sacks Contemporary presents an exhibition of works by Charles Christopher Hill, tracking the artist’s trajectory from his 1970s “stitch” pieces to his most recent paintings. The title “. . .and Group Show” alludes to the disparate aesthetics and techniques Hill has employed over the span of forty years, leaving the impression that this is the work of multiple artists.
