Pick of the Week is this Saturday, Michael Temple aka Tempo founder and percussionist of the World Beat Band also happens to be a celebrated artist.
Artist and musician, Moris Tepper will also be a part of the exhibition.
Michael Temple painted the façade of Trunk Gallery for his new exhibition. Owner of Trunk, Ann Perich talks about meeting Temple, “Mike walked into the gallery one day and we started talking. I discovered he was a painter and was in the Bonedaddy’s. He told me that he’d love to paint the front of the gallery.”

Temple paints everyday. He explains, “Although I began to develop my visual language 40+ years ago (Lower-glyphics), it took me a while to develop enough confidence to trust it. Now I do trust the shaman within; and with my visual vocabulary, the rhythm in the performance and the alchemy of paint, I create my view of the cosmos.”
