Since it is the week of art fairs – Our Pick of the Week is The 2016-LAArtShow-logoLA Art Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The annual fair kicked off last night with a fun gala benefit and will continue through January 31, 2016.

This year Littletopia has been added to the event…Featuring street and pop art, this was quite a popular section at the opening…lots of fun was had here.

You can find bG Gallery at booth 909. The galery has exhibited for the past 5 years. This will be the first time that Stephanie Visser has exhibited at the LA Art Show.

POW-LAArtShow-FineArtsFilmFestivalThe Fine Arts Film Festival presented by the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art has partnered with the LA Art Show to present a curated selection of films at the 2016 LA Art Show.

Each of the three selections examines a category of art that is represented at the LA Art Show and the Los Angeles Fine Art Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center from January 27-31, 2016. The film series is free with admission. Space is limited

For the first time this year…the Los Angeles Fine Art Show debuts….Offering a focus on historic and traditional contemporary works, the new portion of the show provides a dedicated experience for collectors of traditional works, from paintings, to sculpture and works on paper.

Complementing the historic works, The Los Angeles Fine Art Show will present a select group of contemporary artists that have worked in, and continue to explore traditional genres and regional styles.  Bridging the historic and contemporary, the Los Angeles Fine Art Show is curated to present the best in representational works including 18th Century European Paintings, Impressionist works, Contemporary Realism, California Plein Air, Hudson River School and more.
