Regen Projects hosts an art talk in conjunction with #34 by Rebecca Morris. This is the first solo Los Angeles art exhibition by the artist with the gallery. While this is the artist’s first solo show with the gallery, it is also her thirty-fourth exhibition of her career. Over the past thirty years Morris has established a sophisticated visual lexicon to expand the limits and possibilities of non-objective abstraction in painting. The annual event Tour d’Art returns to the Artists’ Studio of Palos Verdes today and tomorrow. Tour d’Art 2025 invites art lovers, collectors, and curious visitors to enjoy a self-guided tour of Palos Verdes Art Center along with six artists’ studios throughout the area. Jaja’s African Hair Braiding continues its run at the Mark Taper Forum. The Hammer Museum throws an opening art party for its upcoming edition of its acclaimed Made in L.A. biennial which officially opens tomorrow.
