As you may have noticed the beginning of each month we have started adding even more art parties listed in a group post. This is because there are simply too many great art parties to list. The first week of each month tends to be a bit busier…and the LAArtParty staff does NOT want you to miss those excellent art parties. Therefore we have added even more. The list below is in order of the time that the events begin on Saturday October 7, 2023.

Philip Martin Gallery has MOVED to the Eagle Rock area. The gallery presents Hair into Gold and Back Again, an exhibition of new oil-on-canvas works by Los Angeles-based artist Tomory Dodge. The Hollywood Sculpture Garden throws an art party in the Hollwood Hills from 5-8pm. Be aware it is a casual potluck dinner situation at Dr Robby Gordon’s house. The October 7, event showcases new sculptures by Jose Carlos Belmares & Jesse Luksana in addition to Augmented Reality by Dan Ginsburg and Dillon Smith.
